About Twelve Flavors (Tsim Sha Tsui)

If you are craving bold spices and authentic Sichuan flavors, Twelve Flavors (Tsim Sha Tsui) is one of those places that immediately stands out in the busy dining scene of Tsim Sha Tsui. Tucked inside Lee Wai Commercial Building on Hart Avenue, this restaurant brings the fiery personality of Sichuan cuisine into a lively and welcoming setting. The moment you walk in, the rich aroma of chili, peppercorn, and sizzling dishes fills the air, creating the kind of atmosphere that makes you excited to start ordering.

What I like most about Twelve Flavors (Tsim Sha Tsui) is how casual and energetic the experience feels. It is a great spot for dinner with friends, a quick lunch break, or even a relaxed evening meal with family. The restaurant is known for serving flavorful Sichuan dishes packed with heat, yet many of the menu items also balance spice with savory and aromatic ingredients. Guests who enjoy sharing food will appreciate the variety of small plates available, making it easy to try different dishes during one visit.

Another reason people keep returning to Twelve Flavors (Tsim Sha Tsui) is the flexible dining experience. Whether you want dine-in service, convenient takeout, or food delivery after a long day, the restaurant makes it simple to enjoy Sichuan food your way. The drink selection also adds to the experience, with beer, wine, alcohol, and hard liquor available for guests who want something refreshing alongside spicy dishes. Vegetarian options are available too, so groups with different preferences can comfortably enjoy a meal together without feeling limited by the menu.

The location in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui also makes it convenient for both locals and travelers exploring Hong Kong. After shopping or walking around the nearby streets, stopping by for hot and flavorful Sichuan dishes feels especially satisfying. The restaurant has a modern yet comfortable vibe, so it works equally well for casual meals and late-night gatherings.

ust behind K11 on a quieter street lit by rows of red lanterns, this ground-floor restaurant reveals itself as an ideal spot for casual dinners and long conversations. The interior is impressively spacious by Tsim Sha Tsui standards, with generously spaced tables that offer privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s no time limit for dining, making it perfect for catching up with friends without pressure. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the area — with many small dishes priced around the $60 range, it’s easy to share a few plates with steamed rice and enjoy a leisurely meal. **Sour Pickled Cabbage Fish (酸菜魚)** A must-try dish, served in an extra-large bowl overflowing with ingredients. The broth is rich and tangy without being overwhelming, thanks to a generous portion of pickled mustard greens. The fish is tender and clean-tasting, contrasted with crunchy lettuce stems, fresh bean sprouts, and wide glass noodles that soak up the broth’s flavor. Selected in the non-spicy version, it’s ideal for sharing with friends who prefer milder tastes. **Spicy Crayfish (小龍蝦)** Ordered at a small spice level, the crayfish dish delivers a satisfying kick — aromatic, numbing, and deeply savory. The shells are coated in a fragrant chili-oil-based sauce that clings to each bite. Though the spice leaves a lingering tingle on the lips, it’s hard to resist reaching for another one.

I really like the Twelve Flavors, I had been there 3 times in 1 week The cucumber salad, the roasted pork, the chicken kung poa, the crayfish... My wife was a little bit "sensitive" to spicy food - so the option to adjust the spice level was really a nice thing. As a western guy I found "normal" and "extra" totally eatable... - only thing to complain is the app... which is not easy to understand, because some mandatory fields had been hidden outside the screen - that made us crazy - Toilets ok, but could be better. - Would go there again. Hint: They may have a beer promotion ongoing - you buy 1 and get 2. Cheers.
